Do you have a wish list

Have you ever wanted something so bad that you begged God for it? Did you ever consider it wasn't for you? Perhaps you pursued a dream so hard only to find out that it really wasn't for you?

Join with me in keeping a journal of our prayer wish list. The task is to list everything you want nothing is to small or large. We are going to find a scripture and associate it with the prayer wish list request and see what happens. My mother was telling me the other day she was going through her journal and everything she had asked God for had happened. i was amazed. I have a couple of things on my list that haven't happened but most of it I'm utterly relieved God didn't oblige my request.

Let's get started:

1. I want to get accepted into UAB MSN program,
2. I want to be a multi-millionaire before I'm 35;
3. I want to be a NY Times Best selling author before 35;
4. I want to be on Oprah;
5. I want to be the first million dollar winner on Deal or No Deal;
6. I want to travel the world;
7. I want to start a non-profit organization in my hometown;
8. I want to open up a chain of dollar stores;
9. I want to allow my children to experience the best schools, the ability to be involved in sports and extra-curricular activities, and more importantly I want to be able to be there;
10. Last but not last I want to be married to the man God created just for me, one who will love my children as his own, one who will love me like no other, and let him be wealthy in wisdom, love, passion, compassion, education, finances, and the word of GOD--completely connected!

Okay, list sounds selfish....no it's my desires not that we have to justify them but to encourage you to be honest with yourself, I'll delve into why I have my top 10.

1. I have always wanted to be a Nurse. After being in the military and working with the elderly I have a heart for it. i desire the flexibility and the ability to touch the lives of millions with love & compassion.
2. This would allow me the opportunity to change so many peoples lives in a positive way. After being a single parent for 9 years you learn to make do with little or nothing. I know their are many other families out there that need help and aren't able to get it. i want to offer a hand up.
3. I have been writing on my book for years it's just never came full circle..I believe i have something to say that will change the lives of millions.
4. i love Oprah she is so sweet & a great philanthropist.
5. Because nobody has ever won the million.
6. I have never had a chance to see a lot of the world and I just want to experience it.
7. Being from a rural area there is literally nothing there. i want to provide a way out and a view into what the possibilities are. so many kids don;t go to school because they can't afford it or they lose hope.
8. In my hometown we have a lot of poor people and they need things at a very cost effective price.
9. I was abused as a child and have been mistreated by many which is odd because I'm not bitter just full of hope and love. I want to change my children's lives and give them better than what I ever had. I always said one day it was going to be my turn.
10. Wow! I have dreamed of marrying my Adam, My King for a long time. I have often given more out than I ever receive in return. I know God is love and I believe with my heart if true love can happen it will happen to me. I want to be married again and I want to have a family. You know have a husband I can sit on the porch with when we are old and just hold hands. Have a husband who is there for me caring for me if I'm sick (he's doing it with a lot of love & tons of smiles). I long to have a father for my children because they deserve it.
